Enjoy a guided tour of The Cloisters museum and gardens which opened in 1938, is a branch of The Metropolitan Museum devoted to art and architecture of Medieval Europe. The ensemble combines ecclesiastical and secular spaces arranged in chronological order-elements from medieval cloisters. Afterwards, you will have time on your own to explore- don’t miss the Small Wonders-Gothic Boxwood Miniatures. The exhibit is miniature carvings made from boxwood. Nearly 50 pieces are on display including a rosary made for King Henry VIII of England. Luncheon will be at an Italian Restaurant on Arthur Avenue with a choice of four entrees followed by time to shop if weather permits. Includes: Motorcoach, Admission Tour and Luncheon.
