Tues, May 7, 2019 - 9/11 Museum & Memorial and Fireman's Museum
Take a self-guided 3 hour tour of the museum that is divided into two parts, one dedicated to remembering the 2983 people who died at the site and the other devoted to the event’s history. Visitors will see artifacts such as the steel “tridents” that anchored the towers, the preserved “survivors staircase”, the last steel column removed from the site after a nine month cleanup and tributes to those who perished in the attack. Visit the Memorial and its tribute to each inscribed name that perished that day. Afterwards, you will have a late lunch at an Italian restaurant with choice of salad, 3 entrees, dessert and coffee or tea. A visit to the Fireman’s Museum for a self guided tour completes our day in the city. Includes: Motorcoach, Admission to Museums & Lunch.
